Dear Servant in Ministry,

“The apostles gathered together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while:” Mark 6:30,31

The servants the Lord had called to be his apostles were involved in great ministering. They came to Jesus excited about serving. The Lord then gave them perhaps the greatest words of wisdom concerning service – sometimes you need to just get away to a quiet place and be refreshed.

My wife and I would like to invite you to a time of refreshing on beautiful Mackinac Island. The Grand Hotel has been one of the premiere hotels on the Island since the 1880’s. It’s there where we will take time to relax and receive some spiritual encouragement for our ministries and marriages. We have invited Dr. and Mrs. Don Green and Dr. and Mrs. Terry Anglea to be our guest speakers.

Please consider bringing your spouse for these few days of renewal and revival. There will be a special ladies’ tea on the veranda of our beautiful hotel on Tuesday morning with Mrs. Faye Green and Mrs. Joyce Anglea. It will be a memorable time on Mackinac Island with friends and fellow-servants. So mark off your calendar for "A Time of Refreshing."
